LET'S MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My Venue Supplies a Coordinator for us why do I need to hire a Wedding Planner?

A: That’s great and they may have everything under control, they may even give you a recommended list of suppliers that they work with. But keep in mind, that’s generally as far as his or her services extend. A wedding planner goes beyond these tasks they are the extra set of eyes watching out for you and can help you manage your budget, and help with keeping things on task, helping with additional day of questions and stress before you even get to the reception. Even beyond that a wedding planner will also help you with other suppliers, research prices, and anything else that may come up.

Q: If I hire a planner will I still get to be a part of planning my day?

A: Yes, Absolutely! Planners are able to help take the stress away from the planning process. So you can have fun planning your big day. Some parts of planning can be very stressful and a little overwhelming this is where a wedding planner can help.

Q: Can Wedding Planners help with booking Vendors?

A: Yes, Planners have built relationships with vendors and understand the INS and OUTS of services offered and vendor contracts, which ensures you spend your money wisely.

Q: Who’s wedding or event is it anyway?

A: Many times family and friends have a different idea of how your wedding should look or go. Brides have to deal with conflicting opinions from their family and friends about how the wedding should transpire, and it can be stressful trying to please everyone. A wedding planner will show you the available options and can be relied upon to give you expert advice so you make an informed decision.

Q: I live out of town and planning my wedding, can a planner help me?

A: Yes, hiring a Wedding Planner is the best gift you can buy for yourself. This will give you a go-to person for you and your vendors. As well as take the stress away from you. A planner has coordinated many weddings and practice makes perfect. Years of experience makes a difference!

Q: Are all wedding planners the same?

A: NO! There are a lot of planners out there today and they are not all created equal. Make sure you know the planner can handle the job. How long have they been doing planning? What is the backup plan if needed? You don’t need the person who just planned their wedding and everyone said they did a great job so they decide to start with your wedding. This is your big day and you need to know it’s going to be handled right and executed correctly.

Q: What Flowers are in season at the time of my wedding?

A: Today a bride can get almost anything she wants year-round. Because the flowers are grown all over the world and shipped in to the United States fairly easy. There are a few exceptions like the very popular peony for example. It is only available from November – May usually.

Q: How much experience do you have in floral design?

A: I started working in the floral industry when I was 16. I have been doing full weddings on my own since I was 18. So that gives me 39 years in the floral industry and 37 years experience of doing weddings.

Q: Can I see what you have done for previous brides?

A: Of Course! I keep files of all my previous works. Usually, what you want I’ll have a picture of it. The colors might be different but you can see my style of design and eye for detail. I also post most pictures on our Facebook page “Socially Artistic Events”

Q: Can I see a sample of what I envision?

A: Yes you normally can. We have a new state of the art walk-in cooler and keep flowers on hand. If we have the flowers on hand you can see the prototype right away. If you selected flowers that we don’t have we will have to order them in.

Q: In a given week how many weddings/events do you do?

A: We will do as many weddings/events that we can handle and still keep the integrity and quality of our servicing. We have several designers, set up and tear down crews on hand. Our designers have to follow strict standards. All are overlooked by the director of floral. When a team sets up an event there is always a floral designer on site to make sure your event is set up to your specifications and the detail is in place.
