The average amount for a wedding is about $20,000.
As weddings have gotten more and more elaborate, is there any blowback? Are younger brides and grooms chuffing off the tradition of a big white wedding and opting for smaller, more subdued ceremonies with personal touches?
Yes and no. There is a good amount that prefer a destination wedding and also their own personal touch. There are also many DIY brides that do much of the wedding themselves and rely on Pinterest.
The remainder are still very traditional, a platform of a wedding that will never go out of style.
What’s your craziest bridezilla story?
The craziest story I ever had was a bride that walked in at 11:00 in the morning hysterical because she forgot to pick up her wedding gown and needed a new gown by 4:00 in the afternoon. That was very stressful but we were able to handle it, to keep her calm and focused we had to keep talking to her and assuring her it would be fine.
